Civilianism #76 / Veterans, War is Poison
Congrats to our new President-elect Obama! It will be interesting to see how his presidency shapes up in the coming weeks. But remember, he isn’t the president yet, so technically he can’t be blamed for anything yet either.
Recorded on Veterans Day. Although I am against American militarism, and even though I feel there are far better and more honorable ways to serve your country than by harming other people and destroying their country, I wish all veterans well, especially the anti-war veterans who have realized the truth.

OBAMA!!!! He’s gonna bring the troops home and end Iraq…I am just so happy, the Republican reign is over! The are so shamrocked by defeat they are ALREADY talking about 2012 and who will lead thier party, it’s only been 12 days Obama’s been elected. I tell you this, if Obama is successful, the Republicans have no chance of a comeback!

oh yeh I also want Al Franken to win Minnesota. I know it’s silly but it would be amazing to have 57 Senators in the House but also Norm Coleman was defeated by a comedian!

@Metaphysics: All day today the Republicans were talking about how to repair their party — it won’t happen! Then one of their giant goons shoved Sarah Palin aside and didn’t let her finish her press conference at the governor’s meeting, which made me feel kind of sorry for her. hahahaha
Seriously, I also want Franken to win at this point. He filed a lawsuit today to look at ballots that have been tossed out. It’s going to get ugly here. I would love Coleman to be defeated by a comedian, (Franken is also a great author and movie scriptwriter, did you know that?) but keep in mind that Coleman is the sleaziest comedian of all.
There are rumors that Coleman’s people have already done a lot to steal the vote.
I hope Obama lives up to everyone’s expectations. It will be difficult, but if he even accomplishes half of what people want him to do it will be an ENORMOUS improvement, if he would only keep the war hawks out of his cabinet. He’s relying too much on people who want to keep us at war.
And I swear this is unrelated to that but Hillary Clinton is now on another “short list” to be our Secretary of State. That job had been rumored to be going to John Kerry.

You know anything is better than Norm Coleman, the guy needs braces man, his jaw is so outta place.
On the secretary of state, I think it’s a good idea Hillary was that, I personally think if it wasnt for her or her estranged husband (I know they don’t sleep in the same bed) Bill, who I do have alotta respect for, Obama may not have won Florida, a very important key battleground state that Clintons campaigned in heavily…so Obama kinda owes her for that, it will make Obama stronger as well if she was secretary of state and I think she is gonna get it.
John Kerry can have some place in the cabinet but for what? He can make a good senator but a shit presidential candidate.
If Obama accomplishes in getting you guys out of this economic mess, then say hello to a 2nd term in 2012! I want him to be just as successful as Franklin Roosevelt, so far he’s my favourite President of all time, if Obama can do it then he’s on the same level as FDR.
Anyways Bush is out in like 60 days, PARTY ON MAN!!!….I would throw a leavers suprise party for him. He’s so worried about what he’s going to do now that he won’t have a job anymore lololol. He should be a Presidential limo driver for Obama, it’s a start. Dick Cheney can be the baggage handler lol, god I hate that son of a bitch of a vice president…he really freaks me out, I am so serious, he’s one scary dude!
